Catherine Kasavuli has been admitted for months now at KNH.
Kasavuli is fighting Cervical cancer and has been recuperating well.
Veteran journalist Catherine Kasavuli, who is recovering at the Kenyatta National Hospital, has been visited by health CS Susan Nakhumicha.
“I visited veteran broadcaster Catherine Kasavuli who is recuperating at the Kenyatta National Hospital and prayed for her continued recovery,” the CS said.
Kasavuli thanked those who are praying for her in a post on her Instagram account in which she also referred to herself as a strong woman.
“I know I’ll fight this. I am currently getting ready for a phase two procedure,” the legendary news anchor says.
The CS also visited other KNH patients during her tour and obtained their opinions on the quality of the services received at Kenya’s biggest referral hospital.
