Classic FM presenter Maina Kageni has undying crush on sultry singer Sanaipei Tande and has tried in vain to win her love, even going as far as seducing her with money.
Maina first opened up about his strong feelings for Sanaipei in January 2021 when he revealed that he approached her with a lucrative deal just win her affection.
The Classic FM presenter said that in 2007 he offered to pay the sultry singer Ksh500,000 as monthly upkeep if she agreed to have a baby with him.
“She is glowing, so voluptuous anakaa poa, why did you refuse to have my baby? I gave you a proposition in 2007. I was ready to be giving you half a million shillings a month, a house kwanza in Lavington, and anything you wanted. Do you even know my mum had told me that if I get a child she will give me that house of hers in Lavington?” Maina Kageni said.
In September this year, Maina said that he has always had a crush on Sanaipei and given a chance he was ready to start a family with her.
“Who would you Kiss, date and marry between Nadia Mukami, Sanaipei Tande and Tanasha Donna? Maina was asked.
To which he replied;
“I will marry Sanaipei. I have always crushed on her, I have asked her to have my baby she has refused from kitambo. I will marry her at the drop of a heart anyday. She is my all-time crush and forever”.
Fast forward to November, Sanaipei while speaking during an interview with Churchill revealed that Maina started seducing her when she was just fresh out of high school.
The songbird said Maina also approached her when she had just landed a job at Kiss FM and told her she wouldn’t ever need to work again if she agreed to get pregnant for him.
“Maina Kageni alianza kunitongoza after nimemaliza high school. Kisha nikapata kazi Kiss 100 radio, hata sikua nimepewa kipindi yangu akaniambia kama sitaki kufanya kazi for the rest of my life nimpe mtoto anitunze milele . Nilikua mdogo sana singekubali kijiingiza kwa mambo ya ndoa wakati ule sababu sikua nimejijenga bado na niliogopa majukumu mengi,” said Sanaipei.
