Raila Odinga’s last born daughter Winnie Odinga is on the receiving end after it emerged that she disrespected Kenya’s High Commissioner to the UK Manoah Esipisu.
According to a tweet that was published by Kimmie 2 times on March 20, Winnie verbally attacked the High Commissioner after missing their flight at Heathrow Airport since the driver could not locate the VIP gate at the airport.
“Apparently Winnie O. verbally abused the Kenyan High Commissioner to the U.K. after they missed their flight back to Kenya. Driver couldn’t locate VIP gate but somehow that was the ambassador’s fault,” Kimmie, believed to be Land CS Farida Karoney’s son, wrote.
Kenyans on Twitter have been angered by the behavior with some claiming that ODM leader Raila Odinga had failed in bringing up his daughter and therefore he should not be the President.
“Winnie Odinga bad behavior shows poor parenting and upbringing by Raila Odinga. Such a man should NEVER be allowed to lead Kenya,” Limozeph said.
“Ida Odinga advocating for religious censorship is totally unacceptable. Winnie Odinga verbally abusing Kenya’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom just because they missed their flight back home, is very rude and unbecoming. Raila Odinga’s family might as well be his downfall,” Victor Mochere
Others however defended her saying that Tangatanga bloggers were just out there to tarnish the Odinga family name.
“Bwana the desperate innuendoes by Tangatanga Minions on Winnie Odinga that she verbally assaulted the kenyan ambassador to UK Manoah Esipisu after missing the Flight back to Kenya,are dead on arrival narratives to divert the fact that the 5th Hon Raila Odinga is in the country,” Frank Mtetezi said.
“The narrative that @Winnie_Odinga“verbally abused@MEsipisu“ was first pushed by UDA and TangaTanga bloggers. I saw it in the morning. Not a single blogger has shared audio or video evidence. It’s always easy and fashionable to bash Odinga’s for political mileage. Not boarding,” another Twitter user said.
In what seemed like a response to the ongoing debate, Winnie tweeted saying that men nowadays steal gossip.
