Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has refused to move on and he is not relenting on his attacks on President Uhuru and NMS boss General Mohammed Badi.
In his latest attack, Sonko comically criticized Uhuru and Bado for letting the city rot in heaps of garbage.
The governor shared a photo of a section of Pipeline Estate in Embakasi South Constituency, showing heaps of rotting garbage piled outside residential houses.
“Nairobi Super Governor who is also the President of the Republic of Kenya and commander in chief of Defence forces Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta and Saddam Hussein really overworking in Pipeline Embakasi South Constituency. Keep up with the good job,” his funny message read.

The mention of the late Iraq President was allegedly in reference to Nairobi Metropolitan services (NMS) boss Mohammed Badi.
In what has been termed as his most open attack to date, the governor made it clear what he felt about the state of affairs in a county he was elected to run.
Sonki and Gen Badi had a brief truce in August 12, during which they agreed to work together for the sake of Nairobi residents.
“I apologise for all the bad things I have said against Badi. Going forward we will work together,” Sonko had said.
“We will work together to build roads, issue title deeds and deliver other services. We only want to inform you that we will work together,” Gen Badi added during their joint press conference.

The two leaders made the announcement after President Uhuru Kenyatta urged them to put aside their differences and focus on delivering services to the millions of people who call the city home.
However, their relationship soon turned sour with the gloves coming off over recent months.
NMS boss Badi has made it clear that he has no political ambitions and Sonko should let him work for the sake of Nairobi residents.
He went on to offer an olive branch by stating that the governor ought to be riding on the various projects NMS had carried out in the capital city.
Badi avers that the best way to deal with the governor was to keep quiet and perfect on his service delivery to Nairobians.
“The best way is to keep quiet, he’ll keep on guessing what you are doing, but I keep on doing the work. I don’t entertain any insults or accusations that he bombards me with every week,” he remarked.
This did not go down well with the governor’s team with some viewing it as a sly dig at Sonko.
Gen Badi has openly expressed frustration on being unable to access funds needed to run the projects he wants to implement in the city, laying the blame squarely at Sonko’s doorstep.
