Go Back To Azimio Now- Wiper Party Corners Kalonzo While On His UK Trip

Date:

Wiper democratic movement party leader Steven Kalonzo Musyoka has been cornered by his party and left with zero choices.

The party members reached a resolution during a delegates meeting at Stoni Athi in Machakos County on Monday.

Through a press release, the party officials urged Kalonzo Musyoka to exhaust all the internal dispute resolution mechanisms within the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance

“There is a dispute resolution mechanism under that alliance, so we are asking our party leader that we do consider the possibility of having further discussions on this coalition arrangement,” said organizing secretary Robert Mbui.

According to Robert Mbui, the Wiper party initially urged Kalonzo Musyoka to get out of Azimio and contest for presidency because there was no room for negotiation at that time.

The Wiper party further argued that the interests of the nation supersedes not only that of their party but also of Kalonzo Musyoka. They added that they had initially agreed to work under Azimio hence did not have any option to abandon the coalition.

The announcement comes at a time when the Wiper boss is said to have traveled to the United Kingdom on a private trip and all eyes are now on Mr. Musyoka and it is a matter of wait and see on whether he will respect the latest decision by his party.

“Because we had already agreed to work under the Azimio One Kenya Alliance, it is time that we exhaust all the options that were available,” Mbui said.
