Gachagua Tells Off Leaders Pushing For Mt. Kenya’s Exit From Government

Date:

DP Rigathi Gachagua has told off MT. Kenya leaders who are pushing for their ouster from the government.

Gachagua insisted that such discussions should be contained in WhatsApp groups, maintaining that Mt. Kenya is in government to stay.

He urged the leaders to instead give meaningful direction to the people of Mt. Kenya.

“I want to assure you president while here in Kirinyaga. We, the people of Mt. Kenya, this is our government. We woke up very early and invested in the government of President William Ruto. I have heard that other leaders have gotten lost saying that we can’t dump the government. You want us to leave the government and go where?  This is our government. I want to ask leaders not to make statements that confuse citizens. Such kind of nonsense should be contained in WhatsApp groups,” the second in command said.

“We can’t leave the one we elected. We are fully in this government.”

Mining, Blue Economy and Maritime CS Ali Hassan Joho was also present and he vowed to work with the president for a better Kenya.

“I have heard your governor say that there is someone who has asked her to leave the government. If am in the government of William Samoei Ruto, how will she leave. The president has issued an order, I have come to check on the  fish farming project. He has told me that the project should be complete after two months. I have asked Anne Waiguru to find me a house and a second wife, I am relocating here to ensure the project is concluded so that youths can get jobs.

“I want to assure the president that we will stand, we will work and citizens will iunderstand us. Hapa ni jobtu hakuna mchezo,” Joho maintained.
