There are MPs who should definitely be sent home on August 9th general election while a select few deserve to be re-elected because of their performance record.
Best leaders ranging from governors, senators, MPs, Women Reps and MCAs recently received awards based on their performance.
The Mizani Africa awards were presented at an event that was held at Ol Sereni Hotel in Nairobi on Tuesday night.
The top three leaders in each category received a certificate and trophy for their good job in 2022 with only 9 governors making it to the list.
The event was hosted by Captain Otoyo who said that the list of the best performing leaders was compiled based on a research that was conducted countrywide. He noted that no one had been bribed to include any of the names of on the list.
Under the MPs categories over 30 of them emerged as top performers but the top 10 ones that deserve to be re-elected are as follows.
The number 10 position was scooped by the Dagoreti South MP John Waweru. Tigania East Mp Kabeabea Josephat and Mukurwe-Ini Mp Anthony Githiaka tied at position 9.
Wajir North MP Ibrahim Ahmed and Mathira MP Rigathi Gachagua came at number 8 while Nyali MP Mohamed Ali scooped the 7th position.
At number 6 was Jude Kang’ethe from Kiambu, Kimilili MP Didmus Baraza and Matungulu MP Stephen Mutinda.
South Imenti MP Kathuri Murungi and Thà raka Mp George Gitonga became number five as James Mathenge Kanini Kega of Kieni and Rangwe MP Lilian Achieng’ settled for the third position.
The second position was taken by James Mutua Kamau and Mavoko MP King’ola Patrick while Westlands MP Tim Wanyonyi Wetang’ula, Wajir North MP Aydan Keynan and Simon Ng’ang’a emerged the top performing leaders.
Under the women Rep category, Murang’a Women Rep Sabina emerged number one, followed by Nyandarua Women Rep Faith Wairimu.
