Former switch TV Make-up artist Creative Phil has opened up on an incident that made him start dating women.
Phil also applies make-up on his face just like other popular make-up artists like Dennis Karuri. However men who apply make-up on themselves like women are in most cases considered gay and some actually turn out that way.
In a YouTube interview, Phil, who failed to give a straight answer on whether he used to date men or not, said that the life changing incident made him even get a tattoo.
“There is a day before I started dating girls, there is something that happened and I decided to shift to the women’s side,” the make-up artist said.
According to him, some anonymous people threatened to take away his life with claims that he was disguising himself as a make-up artist yet he was being involved in some fishy activities.
“I was threatened, I went into depression. I even have a witness, a friend of mine. I told him that I had been informed that one week would not end before I get murdered. They claimed I was raping children in the estate, I don’t know who the people who were threatening me. They told me they had my mom’s number and even send it to me.
“They said they knew the work I was doing in the streets that I should stop disguising myself as a make-up artist,” Phil recounted.
Apparently, due to the pressure, Phil attempted suicide by swallowing drugs. He was however rushed to hospital and when he got better, he decided to get the tattoo.
He however insisted that he is a straight guy unlike what people think of him because of him applying make-up and revealed that his girlfriend is called Tracy Gathoni.

Phil also denied of ever being in a relationship with Dennis Karuri, who turns out to be gay.Â
“Me and Dennis Karuri we are good friends. We are make-up artists and that’s how we met. Many thought [we were dating] but you can’t stop people from making assumptions but that’s theirs . We have never dated,” Phil said.
In the past, a picture of the two surfaced online thus making netizens conclude that they were an item.
