Former Tahidi actor Joseph Kinuthia alias Omosh Kizangila has dispelled claims of being depressed.
In his YouTube channel, Omosh said that he was just sad after losing two of his close friends and neighbors.
“If you look at me, do I look depressed? Ignore that story. Bloggers are just looking for views with Omosh’s name. It has reached a point where there is no content and you decide to revisit Omosh,’ we can get content from him.’ Think of something you can come up with.
“You can just know someone who is depressed. I am not. Maybe there is someone who saw me looking a little bit sad of late. For the last couple of weeks I have been sad because I have lost my best friend and neighbor. After coming back from his burial, I lost a friend again. That was a double tragedy. It made me sad. It is not depression,” he said.
The thespian also denied claims that his wife and children left him because of his ‘current’ situation.
“I want you to do this, go home and confirm. If the family is not there, come and tell me. For me I just know they are around and they are doing fine,” the actor said, adding that he is okay and has no issues.
Reports about Omosh being depressed and dumped by his family emerged late last week following an interview he did with a local entertainment Website.
“I am just going through a lot, I don’t know if it is depression or what is happening in my life.Like right now, I am just wondering how I will get to my house in Kayole. I had been called for some jobs but it did not work, so I am stranded. I have lost everything in my life, my wife, and everything is gone,” he said during the interview.
A section of Kenyans blamed alcoholism as the cause of his troubles while others suggested that the only way to help him this round was to take him to rehabilitation.
