Faith Odhiambo has been elected as the Law Society of Kenya (LSK) President.
Odhiambo was elected in highly contested elections held on Thursday February 29.
According to the results released by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), the outgoing Vice President of LSK won in all the polling stations at Milimani and Supreme Court, where she got 132 and 207 votes respectively.
Odhiambo will now succeed Eric Theuri who has served as LSK president since March 2022.
She will serve for a non-renewable two-year- term.
Other candidates who faced off against Odhiambo were Peter Wanyama, Carolyne Kamende, Faith Odhiambo, Harriet Mboche and Kipkoech Bernhard Ngetich.
