Comedian Eric Omondi has moved swiftly to save the situation after a young girl was captured crossing a dangerous bridge.
Eric has since revealed that the bridge is from a village in Kisii county.
According to him, the community had tried reinforcing the bridge but it was still risky.
“The Heartrenching video of the young girl Courageously crossing the Bridge of death is from Nyakumbati Village in Kisii County. The Girl is called Shirleen and the Father is called Fred Ogata Mogire. The Community has so far tried to Reinforce the Bridge but it’s not good enough. The wood is Rotten, Shaky and UNSAFE. It’s just a matter of time before it collapses into TRAGEDY,” he said, accompanied by a video of him at the location.
Eric has since mobilized his online community to raise funds for the purpose of constructing a better bridge.
“WE ARE GOING TO BUILD THIS BRIDGE TODAY!!! Start Sending whatever you can to Shirleen’s Father on 0722115399 (NAME: FRED OGATA MOGIRE). TEAM SISI KWA SISI TUJENGE HII LEO, LETS GO!!!” he said.
Meanwhile, a section of his followers have blasted Kisii County leades over wrangles instead of serving those who elected them. They attacked Governor Simba Arati who has been involved in altercation with MP Silvanos Osoro.
“Where is Simba Arati? He’s busy fighting with Osoro,” a netizen said.

Earlier, the comedian had called out political leaders for neglecting the community.
He further vowed to relocate the family of the young girl to Nairobi so that she would never face the danger again.
” How do these leaders even sleep at night??? So this little girl faces death every morning. If she makes one little mis step that’s it😡, WE LOOSE HER!!! This child could lose her life just because of some GREEDY, GLATONOUS and MURDEROUS LEADER!!! I am looking for this Girl, we have to save her.
