Renown comedian Eric Omondi has once agin found himself ont he wrong side of the law after taking on solo protests outside parliament buildings.
Just a day after chaotic protests in CBD over the Finance Bill 2024, Eric went to parliament on Friday, with a hand full of people, dressed in red.
In a video shared online, Eric who was on top of a horse chanted anti finance bill protests.
Before the demos could take peak, a number of police officers accosted him, violently pulling him down from the horse.
The officers could be seen assaulting the comedian who was already lying on the ground after falling from the animal, before taking him away.
“Wanamuumiza” those who filmed the incident could be heard in the background.
Eric, who is mourning the death of his brother Fred, has not been actively participating in the demonstrations against the Bill that kicked off on Tuesday.
However, on social media, he has been hinting that he is fully supporting the demos.
“Get Ready to RESIST!!! 204 GREEDY, SELFISH and GLATONOUS P#gs cannot go against 54 MILLION People!!! When the Representative of the People are UNABLE to REPRESENT them THE PEOPLE SHALL REPRESENT THEMSELVES!!!! It will NOT BE a WALK in the Park. IF WE LOSE they Must Lose.#ResistFinanceBill2024,” he shared on Thursday, after MPs approved the controversial bill for a second reading.
