Kajiado central member of parliament Elijah Memusi is mourning his wife Stella Memusi who passed on in a grisly road accident.
According to police reports, the crash took place on Monday night along the Nairobi Namanga road past Isinya town.
Kajiado police commander Muthuri Mwongera while confirming the accident stated that the vehicle carrying Stella Memusi rammed into a lorry, killing her on the spot.
Elijah Memusi’s wife had dropped her children to school after the mid-term break and was headed back home before coming across the lorry that was parked.
However, many Kenyans in the social media are now calling upon the investigative authorities to investigate the driver who was behind the wheels.
These Kenyans wondered how come only the left side of the vehicle where the deceased was got crashed, with his right side remaining untouched. Below were the various sentiments from different Kenyans:
“Yani this driver alipeana tu upande wa passenger? Look at his side, it is not extensively damaged like the left side. I think drivers should be sacrificing so that they die because they are the ones who cause the accidents. Like this one rammed into a lorry and I am sure many drivers went past the lorry. Investigate him ASAP.”
“I normally doubt any accident of high profiled people especially when only the passenger side is involved. I think waheshimiwas should start sitting behind the drivers especially while doubting him or her so that in case he messes up ni yeye anaenda wa kwanza. Wakubwa tokeni huko back left endeni back right. May she RIP.”
Following the death of Stellah, some leaders sent condolences as follows:
“It is a sad, sorrowful and painful day as we mourn the passing of Hon Elijah Memusi’s wife, Stella, after a tragic road accident. My sincere condolences, thoughts and prayers to Hon Memusi (my colleague and friend) and the entire family as they grief their loved one. Stella was a kind and dedicated person who touched the lives of many. To my brother Hon Memusi, Poleni sana na tuko pamoja na wewe ndugu wakati huu mgumu.” Wrote Kajiado South MP Katoo Ole Metito.
