Eight people were on Thursday evening killed in an Helicopter crash that happened in Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula.
The helicopter crashed during their usual peace keeping mission in the region of Sinai Peninsula. The eight who died were six Americans, one Czech and one French. However, one American survived with major injuries. The names of the victims have not yet been released as investigation into the crash goes on.
They were on a peacekeeping mission called Multinational Force and Observers (MFO), a body entrusted to oversee peace between Egypt and Israel. The body has 1,150 millitary personnel from 13 nations. Out of that, 450 are American citizens.
