Kapseret member of parliament Oscar Sudi has vowed to go for the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) Mr. George Kinoti this week.
According to Oscar Sudi, Kinoti asked him to leave behind his phone but the DCI boss is reluctant to give him back.
Sudi revealed that he has tried on several occasions to have his phone back but Mr. George Kinoti has been assuming him for more than a month now.
“To DCI Kinoti, you asked me to leave my phone in your office for one day but you’ve stayed with it for more than a month now. I’m giving you tomorrow and Wednesday or else I’ll be in your office on Thursday to pick my phone.” Wrote Sudi.
It is not clear why the Kapseret member of parliament left the phone behind and why the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) opted to remain with it.
In the meantime, the Kapseret member of parliament and the Directorate of Criminal Investigation boss Kinoti have been at loggerheads on several occasions, with Sudi accusing him of politicizing war on corruption.
“I want to warn DCI Kinoti that he should not be used by some thugs to fight political wars,” Sudi stated at some point.
Sudi further alleged that the war on corruption had led to the children of powerful figures in government losing their jobs on suspicious ground.
“You’re are arresting and prosecuting the close associates of DP Ruto but God will settle it all,” he added.
The legislator also took a swipe at the opposition leader Raila Odinga and president Uhuru Kenyatta over their handshake.
“I want to tell President Uhuru, if you don’t want to go home (after the expiry of the term), please tell us. We will amend the Constitution. Stop going round in circles,” he stated.
