ThereĀ was drama on Tuesday after the national Assembly speaker Justin Muturi was forced to leave deputy president William Ruto’s meeting.
Muturi while addressing the Kenya Kwanza brigade at Ruto’s meeting requested to be excused so that he goes back to parliament.
According to the speaker, he was aware of some evil schemes in parliament and it was prudent that he reaches there as soon as possible so that he corrects the situation.
He went ahead to reveal that the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) legislators such as Duale were in charge of parliament to ensure that everything goes on well as planned.
“Thank you very much God bless you i will be seeking your permission that i exit immediately because as you know honorable Duale made some rules that the house must start at exactly 2.30 and even though there are some people who are planning some things, the honorable Duale and others have assured that we will be okay so i want to go and meet them in advance. Thank you very much God bless you.” Said the fire breathing Muturi.
This comes two days after the National Assembly Speaker Justin Muturi joined the Kenya Kwanza Alliance led by deputy president William Ruto.
The Speaker’s Democratic Party on Saturday signed a coalition agreement with the Kenya Kwanza Alliance at one of the Hotels in Nairobi’s Karen.
Present at the signing were William Ruto, Ford Kenya leader Moses Wetangula and ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi amongst other Kenya Kwanza leaders.
Muturi made it clear that his decision was final since he arrived at that decision after a thorough consultation with community leaders and party members.
“I am happy that after several conversations on coming together, today we have realized that dream of working together for our children and our children’s children,” He said.
Ā “I have traveled in many parts of the country and I can confirm that the heartbeat of many Kenyans is with the aspirations that I espouse in this coalition. We are happy to associate with the alliance” he added.
