Diana Marua has finally pulled down the video on the rape allegations against Willy Paul from her YouTube channel.
Diana took the step following a court order pending the hearing and determination of a lawsuit filed by Willy Paul on December 23 at the Milimani commercial court.
After the hearing of Willy Paul’s application on December 29, senior principal magistrate Hon. D.W Mburu asked Diana, who is the respondent in the case, to delete the video and barred any other person against spreading the video in question.
The magistrate warned that failure to comply with the court order would result in penal consequences.
An excited Willy Paul went ahead and demanded that the defamatory videos and posts be pulled down
The video titled ‘My untold story, Willy Paul attempted to rape me’ was published on YouTube about three weeks ago following an altercation between Diana and Willy Paul.
“He came on top of me and started pulling my skirt up and tearing my top…I’m trying to scream for him to get off me. As I was screaming this guy was choking me… so eventually akaniondokea and that’s when I got the chance to open the door and run away,” Diana said in the video.
Willy Paul however came out to deny the claims and asked the mother of two to speak the truth about what really happened.
“Mimi sijawahi rape mtu, that is a big lie, tell your husband the truth. Mwambie ulilala kwangu and kitu ili happen hiyo time. Na the allegations uniwekea unajua si za ukweli, Ihave never attempted to rape you,” he said.
The My Woman hitmaker also claimed that he had suffered financial loss and his reputation as a father was ruined because of the video.
“The accusations labeled against me have caused me untold suffering, financial loss and my dignity as a father. The politics in the industry are dirty and it hurts me because it’s from people I regarded as a family,” Willy Paul said after the court issued the order to pull down the video.
