Diamond Platnumz has for the first time opened up about his breakup with Kenyan songstress Tanasha Donna. The singer famed for massive hits such as Kwangwaru and Jeje publicly denied claims Tanasha dumped him because of infidelity.
Speaking in an interview on is own radio station, Wasafi FM, the father of four said his baby mama did not leave him because he caught him cheating on her but over other important issues.
”It is true we are not together presently but it is not because she caught me pants down with another woman, no,” Diamond said.
According to the singer, their split came about due to misunderstanding over family issues. Diamond held they decided to take time off because they could not make some important decisions about their future as a family.
”We decided to go different ways because we could not agree in unison about some very important issues about our future. So we thought it wise to give each other time off to think about what is important for them,” he added.
The singer wrapped up by claiming they had not broken up but had just given each other time off and could get back together if God allows it.
This comes a few months after the two parted ways unexpectedly with Tanasha accusing the star of a philandering lifestyle. Tanasha announced their breakup on social media as she announced her arrival in Kenya from Tanzania where she had moved to.
