Details Of Phonecall From Karen Which Forced Sudi To Delete His Opinion Poll Where Raila Defeated Ruto

Date:

Kapseret member of parliament  Oscar Sudi was on Saturday forced to delete his own opinion poll which he commissioned on his official Twitter handle.

With a few days to the polls, Oscar Sudi who is Ruto’s close ally had urged his followers to vote who would win between the Azimio presidential candidate Raila Odinga and the Kenya Kwanza candidate William Ruto. This is what the vibrant legislator wrote: “It’s 3 days to election. Lets vote.”

However, things didn’t go as planned by Sudi after Raila defeated Ruto in that particular poll by a very huge margin.

With only three hours to the polls, more than 54,547 Kenyans had voted and out of that, Raila had scored a whopping 57% while Ruto was lagging behind the Azimio flagbearer with only 43%.

According to credible sources, Sudi and Kenya Kwanza fraternity were sure that the poll would change in favor of Ruto but that was not the case as things kept worsening to the disadvantage of the deputy president.

Because the poll was commissioned by Ruto’s most trusted ally, it became the conversation in the country since no one expected Raila to defeat the doyen in Sudi’s own poll.

With no hope of the same changing in favor of Ruto, Oscar Sudi was forced to bring down the opinion poll from his twitter handle before its official ending time which was reading three hours.

Well, Sonko News has learnt that Ruto’s inner circle in Karen were getting concerned with Sudi’s poll with reports revealing that Ruto’s spanner boy Farouk Kibet at some point got agitated why Sudi was taking long to delete the poll after sensing it did not achieve the intended objective.

By then, the results of the polls had reached Ruto but just like Sudi, he was confident that the results would work in his favor at the end of the voting.

With no signs of good things, our sources revealed that Ruto through his handlers instructed one of his close allies in Karen to call Sudi and order him to bring down the poll since it was doing more harm than good.

Minutes later, the Kapseret member of parliament had deleted the opinion poll and only screenshots for the same were being circulated by netizens across all the social media platforms.

“Sudi deleted the poll and if you’re keen, he was crisscrossing Eldoret and never attended Ruto’s main Rally in Nyayo stadium because the poll had made them brush some shoulders with the DP’s handlers. Sudi was not for the idea of deleting the poll but the deputy president’s handlers forced him to bring it down.” Continued the source.
