Details Emerge What Embakasi East RO Daniel Musyoka Refused To Do Before Body Was Found Dumped

Date:

Sonko News has learnt from unverified sources that the late Embakasi returning officer Daniel Musyoka might have been a victim of politicians who wanted a favor from him.

According to the source who knew the Returning officer, Daniel Musyoka was such an honest man who was determined to perform his duties diligently without being compromised in the local elections.

At some point, his strict stand did not go well with a number of un-named leaders who were keen on buying him to tilt the outcome to their favor.

The Returning officer as narrated by these sources even revealed that the late at some point confessed to them that strange people were approaching him with huge sums of money which he refused to take.

However, Sonko News could not verify these roadside claims and it is upon the Directorate of Criminal Investigations to conduct a proper investigation to unravel what might have happened to the late.

The body of the missing Embakasi East Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) returning officer Daniel Mbolu Musyoka was found in Loitoktok In Kajiado South sub-county.

Loitoktok police boss Kipruto Ruto while issuing a statement stated that the body was identified by sisters Ann Mboya and Mary Mwikali at the Loitoktok sub-county mortuary.

“His two sisters identified the body lying at Loitoktok sub county hospital last night. We are waiting communication from police headquarters either to ferry the body to city mortuary or to remain here,”  Mr Ruto said, adding that the body was discovered early Monday in Kilombero forest at the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro by herders. This area is very notorious for disposing murdered victims.

By the time he was found, Daniel Musyoka clothes were found a distant place  with a number of injuries on his naked body, an implication that he was properly tortured.

“It is evident that the victim was killed elsewhere and the body dumped in the valley. The body has scars indicating torture before the death. He possibly died a painful death,” Mr Ruto said.
