There have been rumors that the Wiper democratic party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has abandoned Raila Odinga Azimio for Ruto’s kenya kwanza.
The rumors have been intensified by some photos of Kalonzo Musyoka hugging president elect William Ruto in the presence of Elgeyo marakwet senator Kipchumba Murkomen and lawyer Kithure Kindiki.
However, it has now emerged that the photos going round were taken at an official function where the Wiper boss met the United Democratic Alliance leader.
This is what the source within Ruto’s circle familiar with the event said:
“This is an old picture doing rounds on social media, The office of the President Elect will not hold any consultation meeting, aimed on building a consensus for the opposition and the government to work from the same side.
The President Elect instead, will hold a meeting with all opposition principals including Uhuru Kenyatta, Raila Odinga, Kalonzo Musyoka, Martha Karua, Gideon Moi and their elected leaders after formerly assuming office next week.
The President Elect, look forward for a working government and active opposition to counter check and keep the government on toes.

It the meantime, Kalonzo Musyoka on Thursday mysteriously withdrew from the speaker race, handing former Kilifi governor Amason Kingi a clean victory.
Kingi garnered 46 votes to become the next speaker of the senate which is way much above the threshold of 45 that is required by the law for one to become the speaker of the house.
According to the Azimio leadership, they decided to walk out of the process since it was already marred with corruption. Their move came in the wake f Kalonzo sending a official letter to the clerk to withdraw his candidature.
