Politicians in solidarity went to Bomet Senator’s house at night to show solidarity with the legislator.
Gatundu South MP, Moses Kuria, Kericho County Senator, Aaron Cheruiyot, and Elgeyo Marakwet Senator, Kipchumba Murkomen have been showing support to their Bomet Senator Dr Joseph Christopher Langat.
According to Kipchumba Murkomen’s explanation, “The DCI has just sent officers to Senator Malala’s house a few minutes to 3 am. They are planning to arrest him and ensure he does not participate in the division of revenue debate and vote in the Senate later today. They want Sen.Msuruve or Sen.Naomi to vote for him. Desperado!”
Aaron shared a video of Dr. Langat telling him that he was more than willing to be arrested in the morning asking why the DCI officers wanted to arrest him at night at 3 am.
“I’m being threatened from every corner and I’ll produce those evidence if anybody wants,” Bomet Senator Dr. Joseph Christopher Langat said speaking from his window in his house in Nyayo Estate.
The Senator went on ahead to add, “why are you threatening me? where do you want to take me at night? am ready to be taken in the morning, the time now is 3 am and these people have been here since 8 pm”
Kipchuman Murkomen shared that 15 police officers were sent to Lang’at’s house to ensure he doesn’t participate in the division of revenue debate later on today in the Senate.
“We are still here at Sen.Langat’s home with over 15 police officers who are waiting to arrest him to ensure he doesn’t participate in the division of revenue debate later today in the Senate. #UhuruKenyattaLegacy” Murkomen said.
