Akumu Dan Joseph, the luo man who was bullied by one famous online blogger professor Maxwell Odongo over a woman has died of depression.
According to sources, Dan Akumu died in Juba on Sunday out of depression following love frustrations.
While reporting Dan’s death, this is what the source familiar with the unfortunate news wrote:
“My people I have never met Dan but this thing has hit me so hard,eiiy I have cried ?….First as a Mother and second as being part of the mess…I was the Koffi Annan who even tried to convince him that the allegations were not true when he was being bullied by those 2.
“I even tried to bring the two together last year and he assured me that he will get back to me when he feels ready to talk about everything he was hurting, he was depressed to a point he was not returning calls.
“The person whom Dan believed in, Loved and thought that will stand with him during that period went back to the person whom bullied him…That’s what hit him most.
“Personally I am disappointed, done and dusted with this roho mzuri of mine, I don’t want to imagine how I fought tooth and nail, defended her and got bullied for standing with her as a Woman yet i was only meeting her for the first time when she wanted to commit suicide.
“People, I am pained because the Women I always defend here out of my good heart have disappointed me one way or the other…Nimenawa mkono.
And to the cyber bullies and those who cheer bullies, your days are numbered. Rest in Peace Dan.” Reported the woman.
Dan Akumu and prof Maxwell Odongo were a few months ago involved in bitter exchange of words online with the former accusing the latter of snatching his baby mama.
What began as a light joke developed into one of the biggest online battles with professor Maxwell Ochieng Odongo accusing Dan of refusing to let go of his child.
Odongo was annoyed with the fact that Dan was not only chewing his baby mama as a wife but also refused to let go of his child.
Feeling annoyed, Maxwell Odongo in sustained online attacks accused Dan of firing blank shots, making it literally impossible to impregnate the lady in question (Yvonne) who was living with Dan.
On their side, Kenyans wondered where Professor Maxwell Odongo got all this information of the deceased being impotent (buoch in luo). As a result, they pointed the blame to Yvonne since she was the only one who could share Dan’s bedroom secrets to Mr. Odongo Maxwell.
Being a country where people have high affinity for Udaku, most social media users camped at professor odongo’s Facebook wall as he released dose by dose aimed at the man who was refusing to release both his kid and baby mama.
Simply put, Maxwell Odongo could not withstand another man chewing his baby mama and taking care of his child because it portrayed him as a useless man in the society.
Maxwell even opened up on using all the avenues to have his child back including going to the school where the boy learnt just to take him.
Fastforward, it seems Maxwell managed to have not only his son back but also Yvone whom he (odongo) admitted that he was seriously chewing whenever she brought him the kid to see while married to the late Dan.
Thus, Dan Akumu was literally depressed and frustrated his weaknesses having been exposed by both Odongo and the wife whom he thought could stand by him. As a man, he definitely suffered from self esteem issues due to someone exposing his weaknesses on social media, chewing his wife and taking back the kid whom perhaps he had bonded with.
Sonko News has also established that the late Dan could not live with the reality of being dumped by the lady who is reportedly residing with Maxwell Odongo as husband and wife. As a result, the deceased was too bitter and was always stressed with life after being dumped like a hot potato.
