The court of Appeal has upheld the death sentence of 2017 against Prison Beuty Queen Ruth Kamande.
Ruth Kamande, who was accused of the murder of her 24-year-old boyfriend Farid Mohammed. Kamande was found guilty of stabbing Farid 22 times in 2015 in, Buruburu Nairobi. She was 21 years old then.
High Court Jessie Lessit sentenced Kamande to death noting that the prosecution had proven beyond a reasonable doubt that the accused had committed the offense.

Kamande who was later crowned the Miss Langata Women’s Prison beauty queen while behind bars appealed the sentencing which has confirmed by the Court of Appeal.
