David Oyando, known to many as Mulamwah is a trained nurse and worked at Kenyatta National Hospital as an intern for one year.
Mulamwah said that after his internship, he worked for one month as a nurse before resigning to follow his comedy dream.
Speaking to a local website, the comedian said that while working as a nurse, he helped deliver 100 babies.
“You see, in school, you have to deliver 20 babies before you sit for your exams, then during internship before you get papers you are required to deliver another about 30, then another 10 on your own then 10 assisted. You are also required to deliver 10 complicated pregnancies like surgeries etc, this is so that you can understand all aspects of nursing,” Mulamwa said in an interview with Tuko news.
Mulamwah and his girlfriend Caroll Sonnie welcomed their daughter in September. Even though he is a nurse, he did not help Sonnie in delivering their daughter Keilah Oyando
“”The happiest day of my life is when I first laid my eyes on my daughter. I was with my wife throughout her labour. I was there rubbing her back and supporting her. Then I stepped aside when she was about to deliver. Though I am a nurse by profession, I opted to step aside to let them do their work,” the father of one said.
Mulamwah and Caroll met during an audition. The comedian revealed that he was actually after her friend and not her.
“Hata si yeye nilikuwa nataka, nilikuwa nataka beste yake,” he said.
Their relationship however started after they worked on a project together.
He recently shared cute photos of her daughter that made women go crazy. Mulamwah revealed that a lot of them want to have children with him but he publicly declared that he is not interested.
“Too many ladies in my DM wanting to have a kid with me . Am not interested. Thanks,” he shared on twitter.
