The comedian has signed a contract with Supersport for a campaign that aims to produce unforgettable experiences for the 2022 World Cup viewers and fans.
Arap Uria rose to fame and distinction by mimicking well-known sportscaster and legend Peter Drury.
Fans will lip-synch comments from the World Cup in Arap Uria’s 2022 World Cup campaign task for Supersport on TikTok.
The comedian is traveling to Qatar in the hopes of running across his idol, Peter Drury, who is also attending the 2022 World Cup tournament in the Gulf.
Peter Drury expressed his desire to meet the comic during a phone discussion with the comedian they had at the beginning of the year.
“I do love your work and I do hope one day we’ll get to meet each other face-to-face and you can teach me how to commentate,” said Drury.
