Bien Aime Baraza of Sauti Sol has said that he will not compensate Jalang’o’s groundman Morrison Litiema for wrongly using his photo.
Litiema is demanding Kshs 5 million from Bien after he used his photo to express the living condition of those who were unsubscribing from their YouTube channel following the standoff with Azimio la Umoja.
Bien who spoke with Mungai Eve asked Litiema to pay him a visit so that he can treat him with a nice meal for them to bury the hatchet. He however said that Jalang’o’s worker was also chasing clout as he was not the man in the viral meme
“Litiema DM me so that we can finish that issue. We Luhyas don’t take each other to social media. By the way, the photo is not his, he is also chasing clout. I have looked at that guy very well. It is not him. He should stop chasing clout and just work like the rest of us . I won’t compensate him because it is a meme.
“I used the photo as a meme. I did not make that meme, I don’t have the time to do so. I am running big businesses in the city, but Litiema much love, I am also his fan. Come I prepare chicken, Ugali and traditional vegetables for you so that we can close that beef,” the artist said.
Speaking about the blow Sauti Sol’s YouTube channel suffered following the confrontation with Azimio over the unauthorized use of Extravaganza song, he said “There was a tiff, I think Azimio followers said that if we continue pressing charges on their party they will unfollow us so 2000 unfollowed us and then 2000 followed back, what I can say about that is that in the growth of the snake, the snake sheds off the dead skin, those who unfollowed represents the dead skin.”
