Tanzanian gospel artist Christina Shusho has praised Nyamari Ongegu known professionally as Nyashinski for his musical composition.
Shusho noted that she is moved by how keenly Nyashinki packages his words delivering different messages through his songs.
“I really love how Nyashinki composes his songs. There is an element of calmness which appeals to me so much,” Shusho stated.
The Tanzanian gospel artist further noted that she was ready to collaborate with Nyashinki.
“I am ready to sit down with him and see what we can create,” Shusho stated during an interview on NTV on Friday, December 29.
Nyashinski is known for his lyrical skills, his ability to switch between English and Kiswahili, and his socially conscious lyrics. He is one of the most popular and respected rappers in Kenya and has been praised for his impact on the Kenyan music scene.
Shusho also invited Nyashinki to his concert at Garden City in Nairobi which will be hosted by comedian Daniel Ndambuki.
Speaking after her arrival at JKIA, the singer said she is humbled by the love Kenyans have accorded her and welcomed them to give thanks and pray for grace in the coming year.
“Kwa mara ya kwanza niliamini wananipenda. Nilijua mimi nawapenda Wakenya sana kuliko wao lakini kwa sasa wameniaminisha kwamba wananipenda.
“Niko hapa sababu ya demand ya wananchi,” she said. (I thought I loved Kenyans more than they loved me but now I believe they love me back as well. I am here due to public demand.)
Shusha Nyavu is one of Shusho’s most loved songs and boasts over 8.4 million views on YouTube.
