Charles Nyachae, Francis Muthaura have landed government jobs following appointments made by President William Ruto.
Nyachae has been appointed as the Chairperson of the council of Kenya School of government for a period of one year.
The position was being held by Njoki Kahika whose appointment has been revoked.
Nyachae, a close ally of Ruto since the 2022 campaigns previously served as Judge at the East African Court, having being appointed by former head of state Uhuru Kenyatta.
He however resigned from the position last year.
Muthaura on the other hand will be taking over as the Chancellor of Kenyatta University for a period of five years.
The 77-year old served in Daniel Moi, Mwai Kibaki and Uhuru Kenyatta’s administrations. He was also among the six suspects of crimes against humanity in the 2007/2008 post elections violence. His case was dropped in 2013 due to lack of sufficient evidence.
Finally, Mshindi, a veteran journalist who has been serving as the editor-in-chief at Nation Media Group for 24 years will chair the board of the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation.
