Charlene Ruto was trending almost every day in the last months of 2022.
Kenyans nicknamed Charlene Ruto as “Quickmart Ivanka” after she crisscrossed the country appearing at events, just like the supermarket has at least a branch in many places.
Later, after Charlene said she sold smokie kachumbari at Day Star University, Kenyans said she was joking wondering how a daughter of a billionaire could see smokie pasua to earn money. Her father, President William Ruto, was the Deputy President at the time.
Via her social media page, Charlene has shared what she has learnt in the just concluded year, 2022.
“2022 taught me to accept who I am. Accept who you are. Embrace & Love that greatness within you, the influence you wield & the compassion you have for others. Accept that you may not always have the answers but you are willing to take the risks to leave your mark in this world.” says Charlene.
She is also positive that blessings and good tidings will continue flowing her way.
“I can’t wait to see what 2023 holds. Happy New Year. May good tidings be your potion this entire year.” the first daughter adds.
