It seems the mysterious death of veteran DJ Lithium has brought up an important discussion about Miss Mandi of capital FM.
Since Wednesday, former Capital FM radio presenter Miss Mandi has been trending on social media after her former colleague accused her of bullying him and others.
Trouble began when Miss Mandi urged Kenyans to be mindful of others by not engaging in actions that hurt other people.
“I truly dislike people who aren’t big on accountability. You can’t go around doing things that hurt people then are afraid to be accountable for your actions. You’re stunting your own growth,” she tweeted.
However, these motivational sentiments did not go well with one Koome Gitobu who equally worked for Capital FM. According to him, Miss Mandi made his experience at the station very tough by constantly bullying him.
“Just sitting here watching the person who constantly terrorized and brutally bullied me the entire time we worked together talk about accountability,” he replied as he recalled his time at the station.
Koome Gitobu added that the rogue Miss Mandi on several occasions looked down upon him since he was not in a position to afford an expensive lifestyle like her.
“This woman. Would constantly call the entire office to a stop to make fun of my clothes when I didn’t have enough money to buy the trendy shit she and her friends thought only those deserving to be in their presence to wear.
“This woman. Made up such hurtful nicknames for me behind my back. And laugh in my face because I couldn’t afford to order fancy food for lunch so I would cook my own food and carry.
“This woman. Felt because I didn’t have an accent as well-polished as hers I, therefore, was not deserving to be a radio presenter like her. And would happily remind me whenever I crossed her (which only happened when I breathed near her),” Koome posted.
The confession led to a number of Kenyans throwing all kinds of accusations to Miss Mandi with regards to how he hurt many people at Capital FM.
In fact, it is reported that she literally frustrated and smashed her former colleague Anita Nderu at the Fairmont Hotel.

In the meantime, Kenyans had the following to say about Miss Mandi:
“Huyo Miss Mandi hata kuna beshte zake wanasema walipatwa na food poisoning after eating those bad things she cooks on youtube. One said she had serious diarrhea the had to sit next to a fan to cool off the burning sensation.”
“I hope Miss Mandi holds herself accountable & apologizes because that is truly some fucked up shit. Deliberately making someone feel worthless and taunting them? Someone who’s done nothing wrong to you? Mean girls make me so sick. It’s so wrong. And time passing isn’t an apology!”
“Miss Mandi hata kwa gym ya mtaani alikuwa na hizo bullying tendencies. Shouting at folks who come near her “weights” wasizishike na sweat yao”
“Story ya Miss Mandi reminds me of the time I interned at Waiguru’s office long ago before she became famous. She liked her documents stapled vertically, not the conventional diagonal way. Zile matusi nilipewa ndugu zanguni…”
When it was Shaffie Weru and DJ Joe Mfalme , things deescalated so fast. Guys were sacked quick, EABL suspended advertising on Radio Africa Group. Nothing will happen to Miss Mandi and Capital FM because this part of world punishes men more than women for similar mistakes.

The Miss Mandi debate is a revelation of a deeper problem at work places. Workplace bullying and Narcissistic tendencies exhibited by one or two employees who have the favor of the company management, hence untouchable
