Hawk eyed Kenyans have noticed something strange about the bottom up hotel that deputy president William Ruto visited on Tuesday.
According to these Kenyans, the bottom up hotel that had been trending for the better part of the day was just a mere public relation (PR) exercise meant to hoodwink the citizens.
To prove their sentiments, these Kenyans pointed out the traces of white paint on the ground, a manifestation that the hotel was just painted and branded perhaps a day earlier before the DP could attend.
The hawk eyed netizens even circled the drops of the white paint on the ground which had not dried. Put in another way, the whole thing was stage managed and that it did not happen by accident.
Below is how a number of Kenyans reacted to the bottom up hotel:
“It stinks of stage management.”
“Former President mwai Kibaki lifted the economy without much drama like eating in Kiosks and eating roasted maize along the road hii ni ukora tupu bure kabisa.”
“The paint and the hotel looks new. Anyone who’s always in the rural will discover it by a glance. Very good choreography and a PR stunt.”
“The location of the Hotel? ? The entrance of the hotel? An entrance of typical rural homestead ?.The fresh pain? was also done today morning! ?.PR gone south ?”
“Breaking news ! Zachary Matunda’s house converted to a hotel overnight by Itumbi team so Ruto can stage a hustler moment . Nyamira county has so decided.”
“With this script, someone has been convinced that this is the way to develop an entire country with a population of 50 M. drinking tea here and there in the bushes, taking photos then some semi literate youth is made happy. and they ensure someone with disability is in the scene before recording. i wonder why this should be made public. tenda wema nenda zako.”
“Gloly to God everything happen with a reason they never new his fifth will be their customer. Bottom up is real deal.”
“Hehehe..the paint looks fresh and hurriedly done. Soon he will change it to Azimio La Umoja or Oka Hotel.”
“The paint and the hotel looks new. Anyone who’s always in the rural will discover it by a glance. Very good choreography and a PR stunt.”
“Stage managed, how did Ruto came to know of this kibadaski, don’t fool us.”
“The script wasn’t well written, clearly that’s someone’s home, in gusii land its not our norm to have such a business in someone’s compound. ? Alafu seats with cushions waaah terrible script.”
“I don’t understand how someone’s hotel being pitched in interior my question is who are his customers. Don’t brain wash us.”
“Breaking news ! Zachary Matunda’s house converted to a hotel overnight by Itumbi team so Ruto can stage a hustler moment . Nyamira county has so decided.”
“The bottom to up was painted during the nite?????. Am telling this if ruto.failed for president..he will sink into deep painful depression…he have invested soooooo.. much.”
“Drama festival is over and the best male actor 2021 is none other than William Ruto ??”
“This has been dramatized. Stage managed to fool the gullible TT supporters.”
“I see no humility in this whole picture. quoting my big bazuu..its an issue of miniskirt vs making decisions. You paint the hotel to attract whoever would be most interested in that kind of messaging..(fantastic strategy. Sadly the state to which kenyan men have been reduced as far as making ends meet is concerned because of joblessness caused by the very same leaders). Then someone “significant shows up, plays god and like himselofu seizes the moment (public display of “generosity”).”
“It reminds during Kiamba by election. They came do shopping like everyday and immediately after voting that’s is the end. It’s Kenyans to open their eyes and separate campaign gimics and helping the needy..”
“????? Power house trained you well bro, you fixed a horrible script
1. Who puts up a hotel 1Km away from the road
2. The price of the painting is expensive than the hotel itself
3. Interesting that a village hotel has cushions
4. Hii hotel haina hata Menu kwa Ukuta”
