Former Kakamega senator Boni Khalwale has responded to claims that he has been sidelined by DP William Ruto.
Reports on social media indicated that Khlwalwe was complaining about DP Ruto’s move to welcome senator Cleophas Malala to UDA.
According to the post Khalwalwe vowed not to just sit down and face humiliation just like Kirinyaga women rep Purity Ngirici when governor Anne Waiguru ditched Jubilee for UDA.
Khalwalwe has however termed the post as fake and pointed a finger to his political opponents.

A section of his followers supported him while others bashed him for not opening his eyes to see what was transpiring.
“These cows are really desperate. Just the other day it was @GovernorNanok”, and now this. They are really overworking for their septuagenarian demigod!” Keter Alvin replied to Khalwale’s tweet.
“Brother, When You see DP turning up to a Malala’s ANC Event who is your Governorship Main Contester You shouldn’t Take things Normal. Unachezwa,” OLe Leisanka wrote.
“Whether fake or not, I love it….soon it will be a reality. Nothing happens in politics out of mere coincidence. Malala and Ruto had planned to humiliate you,” Phelix Woud Ruoth said.
Speculations that Khalwale was being betrayed were fueled by DP Ruto’s move to make an appearance at Malala’s Football tournament that was held at Mumias sports complex on Friday December 31.
COTU secretary General Francis Atwoli has also claimed that Malala was working with the second in command and was on a business while calling upon ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi to stop being misused by him.
Both Malala and Khalwale are eying the Kakamega gubernatorial seat in the coming general elections slated for August 9, 2022.
