Political analyst Barrack Muluka on Tuesday night gave clear indications that he is no longer the head of communication at William Ruto’s camp.
Barrack Muluka while speaking at Citizen TV was asked whether he still works for the second in command but he said he would willingly offer his services if called upon, a manifestation that he was dismissed long time ago.
Other than heading the Communications wing, Barrack Muluka was also expected to be advising Ruto on political matters.
Asked why he decided to work with DP Ruto, Mr. Muluka stated that he could not reject an opportunity to serve the second in command.
According to the communication expert, his vast experience and education background would be very ideal for the deputy president. He made these sentiments while speaking during an interview with the Jeff Koinange Live (JKL).
“When the person who occupies the second-highest office in the land considers that I’m meritorious of working with him and for him, it would be an exercise in self-delusion to say that I will not work for the person,” Muluka said, adding that not many people would get the opportunity to work with such a high profiled person.
“I have gone to school, taken degrees… including a doctorate… it would be self delusion to say that I will not work for the second highest person in the country. How many people are going to be called for that kind of mission?” He added.
Prior to joining Ruto, Barcak Muluka has previously worked with Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka, Orange Democratic Movement leader Raila Odinga before he joined Musalia Mudavadi’s Amani National Congress (ANC).
Fast-forward, he would resign from the ANC Secretary General post, claiming that he had completed all his responsibilities and that he would no longer add any value to ANC.
“I doubt I could add more value to what I have done so far, moreover it is fitting that the space around you should be decongested, this will allow you to make critical decisions on the population and leadership,” read part of the statement.
The move however did not go well with professor Lumumba who equated him to a woman that ges married to a number of men, hoping to make them pregnant at a ago.
“From Kalonzo to Raila to Mudavadi to Ruto…In Kiswahili we say ‘kirukamito’; a woman who gets married to many men and leaves all of them,” Joked Prof Lumumba.
