Babu Owino Tells Off DCI, Ruto After Being Summoned

Embakasi East MP Babu Owino has been summoned by DCI.

Owino is required to present himself at DCI headquarters on Wednesday July 24, 2024 at 9.00am for allegedly being involved with Incitement and money laundry.

“Under the powers conferred to me under this section, I request you Hon Babu Owino to report to me at DCI Nairobi County Headquarters Police Station on the 24th day of July 2024 at 9:00 a.m. and furnish me with full information concerning the case.”

“NB: Note that failure to comply with the above requirement renders you viable for prosecution,” DCI inspector said.

The lawmaker has however told off the government asking them to change strategy because he is already used to the current one.

“The DCI and Ruto should change strategy coz I’m used to the nonsense of arrests and prosecution.They started arresting me when I used to sell Chang’aa while in Primary school.This will not prevent me from fighting for my People,” he said.

He added that he will not be bow to threatens vowing to continue fighting for Kenyans.

“I’m the one who should help you investigate my case or you should investigate. Huyu hana akili.

“I have had so many cases in court this one is gibberish. It can not intimidate me,” he said.

Owino also urged the DCI officer summoning him, Eunice Njue, against being used..

“Mimi ni yule mbegu mbaya sana usitumiwe,” he said.
