For one to run a political seat in Kenya, he or she must meet some requirements, an example being academic qualifications.
Those who wish to be the president or governors must have a degree from a recognized university. The MCA seat is however not so demanding for the academic qualification.
Over time there has been an argument that being educated does not mean one is a good leader. Good leadership is in the heart and is like a gift of the holy spirit. Others however believe that a good leader must be educated.
Some also say that learning institutions merely give one knowledge but not necessarily teach you how to apply it.
