Roselinda Simiyu, the eldest wife of COTU secretary general Francis Atwoli, left Kenyans talking after she publicly joined UDA.
Roselinda was welcome to the Hustler nation during DP William Ruto’s rally in Bungoma county on Friday, January 28.
“Huyu ni bibi ya ule jamaa wa nyororo,” Ruto said as he introduced Roselinda to the crowd.
“My name is Roselinda Simiyu. My husband is known as Francis Atwoli. I am inside the hustler movement,” Atwoli’s wife said.

Responding to her move to work with his political enemies, Atwoli disowned Roselinda saying that she surrendered to the second in command in 2007.
“Roselinda was surrendered to William Ruto in 2007 in his Eldoret town house. She is no longer on the list of my relatives. Ruto can now add her, FREE OF CHARGE, to his two recently acquired bearded wives to him have three wives from western. Western Kenya is in Azimio,” Atwoli said via a tweet.
By the bearded wives, Atwoli was referring to ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi and his Ford Kenya counterpart Moses Wetang’ula who recently formed an alliance with Ruto.
Atwoli has however been asked to get prepared because his youngest wife, KTN news anchor Mary Kilobi, will also be stolen from him soon.
“Tutachukua mpaka kale kadogo ka ktn,” Mwaura Maina responded to Atwoli.
“Thanks for the confession. If they went for Roselinda when you were still strong, what do you think will happen to MARY KILOBI now that you are OLD, WEAK and WOUNDED?” Tisssot Mrs’ comment read.
“Tunamezea mate the youngest of your wives. Sooner or later she will be ours in all areas,” Bor Kipkoech said.
A section of netizens have however felt that Atwoli was disrespecting his wife, considering the fact that the two have children together.
“This is the mother of (some of) your children. A little respect, maybe? Not only for her and your children but also for the man that you were when you chose her (with no gun to your head)?” Zion Pearl.
Others feel that DP Ruto likes breaking people’s homes considering the case with Peris Tobiko.
“DP should learn to respect people’s personal lives. The other day he referred to Sen. @Wetangulam as yule mtu wa kupigwa na bibi… true Luhya men will never forgive him,” another follower said.
