Central Organizations for Trade Unions Secretary General Francis Atwoli has continued to bash Kakamega county senator Cleophas Malala.
Speaking on Monday during the inspection of Bukhungu stadium ahead of the December 31 meeting whereby he is expected to reveal the person that the Luhya community will be supporting in the coming general elections, Atwoli dared Malala to interrupt the meeting from taking place.
Atwoli said that he was the one who gave Malala his senatorial job and warned that he might take it back while criticizing him for creating a feud with ODM leader Raila Odinga.
“This young man, whom I made him the Senator, tell him to stop being erratic. The other day I saw him alleging that I don’t give people jobs, yet I gave him the job as senator and when somebody gives you something, he can as well take it back. Go and tell him he is a young man and should slow down because when I curse him, he will be a nobody,” he said.
He further said that the senator had been paid to cause chaos during the meeting. Atwoli however said that security will be tight around the stadium as well as the whole the County.
“I have gone out of my way to ensure that the security in Kakamega on December 31, is security that no man or woman has ever seen,” he reiterated.
On Sunday, December 26, Malala had announced that the Bukhungu rally had been nullified since ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi had not been consulted.
“Kakamega is my bedroom. I want to tell them that unless they get a permit from Musalia, let them not step to Kakamega on December 31…I want to officially say that there will be no meeting at Bukhungu stadium on the 31,” Malala said.
