Popular social media lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi on Friday expressed his disappointment with lawyers from the lakeside region after the hearing of the petition came to an end.
Ahmednasir in his tweet claimed that majority of the lawyers who represented the Azimio presidential candidate Raila Amollo Odinga were Luos while his boss Ruto was represented by a few from the Kalenjin region.
“90% of Hon Raila’s legal team were from Luo Nyanza. 5% of president elect William Ruto’s legal team were Kalenjin.” Tweeted the lawyer.

However, these sentiments did not go well with Kenyans who had the following to tell Ahmednasir Abdullahi:
“Wewe enda kamua ngamia, stop profiling luos. Hii ujinga utaacha. They went to school and that’s why they were contracted,is @philip_murgor a luo? He is a competent barrister, not yapping on Twitter like you, arguing with school dropouts no wonder u think u are on the top.”
“Luo lawyers: Kibe Muigai, Pheroze Nowrojee, Julie Soweto, Jackson Awele, Velma Maumo, Prof. Ben Shihanya, Dan Maanzo Tom Macharia. Winnie Makaba, Jerusah Michael, Deborass Bubi, Geoffery Sore, Naila Salim, Tabitha Wathuti, John Njomo, Jacquline Njoroge, Speranza Nywaira, Kinyua.”
“Nyanza produces the finest minds, Kalenjin produces the best runners/marathoners. How do you compare those two🤔🤔🤔”
“Let us not blame them. It may be necessary,when they retreat to explain to their client in a clear language that he may understand…But we still have to give it to the Lakers,they have brilliant legal minds,even as we acknowledge the fresh minds in our legal fraternity.”
“What is wrong with 90% of Railas team coming from Nyanza if they are the best. The proved the same to @ahmednasirlaw in 2017 the he could not attempt the same in 2022.
