Kenyans did not take it lightly after the Nandi senator Samson Cherargei claimed without evidence that the election had been rigged in favor of the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Odinga.
Samson Cherargei while addressing the press on Monday alleged that the presence of a number of key cabinet secretaries backing Raila Odinga’s campaigns was enough proof that the opposition leader would win the election by 8am in the morning.
“I have seen Joe Mucheru, Eugene Wamalwa and Fred Matiang’i. These people should protect the country, but we saw them recently declare their support for Raila Odinga.” He said.
As a result, the senator demanded that president Uhuru Kenyatta fire these three cabinet secretaries since their presence in those positions would amount to unfairness of the 2022 general elections.
“I want to request President Kenyatta that in the interest of the peace and integrity of elections in this country, they must be fired or given lighter duties.
There is no way we can have the Minister of Interior, Defense and Information and Communications Technology support one candidate as we approach the General Election,” Cherargei stated.
However, Kenyans were quick to dismiss the Ruto ally while reminding him that Karma is a bitch and that they should not complain having kept quiet in 2013 and 2014 when similar rigging issues were raised by the opposition.

“These people really have no agenda. Warning the president daily and deriding Raila cannot be a presidential manifesto. .and someone advise them to talk less, they are making fools of themselves.”
“But you as jubilee have rigging elections all through, so why are you afraid… This time round just prepare for teargas.”
“In 2013, 17, Raila had the same issue and the same people who are now complaining, called Rao all sorts of names, they even eliminate nkaiseri and replace matiangi who was their darling at that time, the events have change and it is vice versa ???.”
“Inaibwa kitu akuna ruto amewai simama wapi ndio ajue akona kura yakuibwa?.”
“Stop, do you mean hakuna cs anasupport ruto? Ama hawa ndio wa kwanza.”
“What’s good for the goose is good for the gander.”
“You must be feeling how ODM felt in 2013. Karma is a bitch.”
“The last time i checked it was Wafula Chebukati conducting the elections not Matiangi or Wamalwa or Joe Mucheru. These people have just sensed defeat and are now looking for sympathy. Kama mnaogopa Raila atawaibia basi ambia DP asmame Nairobi akuwe governor.”
