Akothee’s daughter Rue Baby recently graduated from Strathmore university and her graduation party had been scheduled for Saturday.
The model however chose to postpone the party until further notice because of her mother’s health condition.
Akothee was hospitalized barely weeks ago with a condition referred to as pinched nerve and is still recovering.
Rue however postponed the party without the knowledge of her mum who only found it through social media.
“@akotheekenya this is addressed to you. I know it comes as a surprise but you are not well yawa mama ni. Can someone just help me tie her up so that she gets better first .. we can always do party later. @drofweneke help please . Until further notice,” Rue shared on social media.
After discovering what had been done behind her back, the Lotto hitmaker described Rue as one of her most difficult children while saying that she had refused to pick her calls.
“Just like that, this idiot postponed her graduation ceremony without telling me ! She ain’t picking my calls only texting mum get well soon first,” Akothee said.
She however asked her to set another date of her choice since she wants to celebrate her in a big way.
“Mama I only mean well. I know it was wrong for you to find out through social media like a fan. But I want you to dance healthy,” Rue answered her mother.
Rue, who graduated with a degree in International Relations, praised her mother for being able to raise her children single handedly.
“As a single mother who has managed to raise her children well in this generation you deserve all the good things mama .. I am proud to make you proud . Congratulations on your second degree my love,” Rue said.
