Akothee Nearly Causes An Accident While Being Chased By Fans

Date:

Renown singer and Philanthropist Esther Akoth alias Akothee has admitted that she nearly caused an accident on Monday.

In a lengthy social media post, she urged her fans to leave her alone sometimes when they meet in public because especially when she is hiding her face with a mask.

“My dear, the things I deal with off camera are nasty. You don’t want me trust me,” she said.

According to her, the harrowing incident occurred when she was heading home from Nyali.

“I nearly caused an accident today while driving from Nyali back home🙏. A motorbike carrying two women was persistently following and overtaking me, trying to stop me on the highway. They kept waving their hands and shouting my name,” Akothee shared.

At the time, Akothee was trying to sort out some issues with her son  and had other matters to attend to.

“Excuse me? This is a highway! I was on the phone with my son, sorting out family issues and rushing home to deal with the situation at hand. I had to cancel my monday meetings , then boom.Who are you, and what do you want from me? How did you even know it was me? Why was it so urgent? At what point did you recognize me, and what made you think I would stop on the highway? Do you know where I’m coming from or where I’m going?” She further said.
