Africans are doing voodoo rituals to curse police In America

The death of African American George Floyd in the hands of white police officers continue to elicit protests and reactions across the world, with many decrying the police brutality and institutionalized racism against black people.

Here in Africa the home of all black people, some Africans have taken it upon themselves to invoke the powers of their gods to punish racist police officers in the USA.

The Africans who are mainly from the west, where most African Americans trace their heritage from insisting they will continue cursing voodoo on the Americans as a show of solidarity, support and empathy for the plight of Black people in America.

“Voodoo curses put upon American police are for centuries of racism and police brutality against African Americans and we will do this until these racists come to their senses,” said Keita Balu, who precipitated in one of the rituals.

The Power of Voodoo and its ability to bring misfortune and death upon people and even nations is well known and feared as a powerful force around the world. Voodoo is as old as the world. Originated from Benin Empire (Edo Kingdom) presently located in modern-day Nigeria.

The practice of Voodoo has spread worldwide.

The George Floyd protests are an ongoing series of protests and unrest which began in Minneapolis on May 26, 2020.

 

The unrest began as locals protest before quickly  spreading nationwide and in over 60 countries internationally in support of the Black Lives Matter movement.

Over 2,000 cities and towns in the United States and around the world saw protests and demonstrations as of June 13, and protests extended for a fourth week after Floyd’s death in many cities.

 

While the majority of protests have been peaceful, demonstrations in some cities descended into riots and widespread looting with more being marked by street skirmishes and significant police brutality.

The protests have also been associated with the removal and destruction of monuments and statues throughout the country and internationally.
