A Letter To Fugitive Killer: Widow Of Late PA To Kakamega Senator Writes Message To Lorry Driver Who Killed Her Husband

Date:

Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala lost his Personal Assistant Abel Timona Kachu wa’ Sisungo who died in a grisly road accident in Nakuru.

Sisungo was among six people who perished in the August 25th accident in Greenstead area after a North Rift matatu collided with a lorry.

Five people including the driver of the matatu died on the spot while another died while receiving treatment at Nakuru Level Five Hospital.

Malala’s PA was buried about two weeks ago, his widow Gloria Toywa is however still finding it hard to come to terms with her husband’s painful demise.

Toywa took to Facebook on Friday September 17th to lament about the reckless lorry driver who killed her husband and five other passengers.

The 32-year-old widow expressed her pain saying the lorry driver killed her husband when he was just about to pay her dowry and widowed her and orphaned her children at a young age.

Below is Toywa’s painful post:

“To the driver of the lorry that hit and killed my Kachu on the spot, I purposed to visit you at Nakuru PGH that 26th morning when I came to collect Kachu…I knew you were there, minor injuries here and there…

That day had I found you, sijui, maybe I would have gone numb or maybe over reacted. Lucky the police protected you, wakasema ulitoroka…

Whoever and wherever you are, I hope you get to read this some day.
If you have a wife, would you ever imagine her being a widow at 31yrs?just a week to her 32nd birthday?

If you have children, my 1st is barely 9yrs..would you ever think of your own being orphaned at that age?

I may not know the circumstances under which the accident happened, but I watched videos and I saw clearly you hit that driver and passenger behind the driver directly…that behind the driver was my husband. His seat had to be removed for his lifeless body to be pulled off…his left shoe brown in color still remains stuck in the vehicle…Were you drunk?were you tired? were you on your phone? what just happened is all I want to know from you….

You killed my husband while he was going to make dowry plans for me, widowed me and orphaned my children…does this give you sleep at night?

I saw my husband and his eyes were still open, so he saw you…maybe screamed or shouted or called my name…I don’t know, but he saw you hit him…I witnessed his postmortem and you hurt him. You crashed his ribs, his lungs, his liver, spleen and every bone in his body…does this give you sleep at night?

I pray that one day I am able to forgive you…my husband was a careful driver, did not have to die because of your reckless driving. Until I can forgive you….do you get sleep at night? because I do not.
