The plane in which government spokesperson Isaac Mwaura has made an emergency landing.
According to a statement shared by his office, Mwaura was on board alongside Kenya Red Cross Secretary General Idriss Ahmed.
The chopper made an emergency landing due to poor weather.
His office confirmed that the duo are both afe after the incident.
“The Spokesman Hon Dr. Isaac Mwaura is safe. The helicopter plane that him & Idriss Ahmed the Kenya Redcross SG were using from Nyando had to make an emergency landing in Gishungo, Kikuyu Constituency due to poor weather conditions,” Office of the government Spokesperson stated.
“They had gone to give relief to affected people,” it added.
