Angry Naivasha Mob Attacks Two Men Caressing Each Other In Public

Date:

Two men in Naivasha were beaten silly by an angry mob after they were caught getting affectionate in public.

The two were among revelers in one of the local bars on Tuesday evening. As they gulped their drinks, they  began caressing each other, a move that left the locals in disbelief.

Paul Mwaura, who witnessed the whole drama said that the actions of the two men, one of whom is married, angered those who were present.

The matter escalated when one of the man unzipped his colleague’s trouser, forcing the locals to intervene.

“The two who were drunk and decided to make out and irate members of the public threw them out of the bar before seriously beating them.

“One of the man is married and residents are still trying to come to terms with the incidents which are on the rise,” Mwaura said.

In the ensuing melee, one of the man was left with serious injuries, but lucky enough, well-wishers came to their rescue.

Mwaura however noted that cases of LGBTQ have been on the rise in Naivasha within the last few months, with most of them conducting their businesses in airbnbs.

A police officer in the area said that no one has reported the incident to the police.

Meanwhile, residents of Soko Mjinga, along Naivasha-Nairobi highway have barricaded the road, demanding the release of a man suspected to be a rapist from custody.

It is alleged that the man has been involved in  raping and killings of five children.
