Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) has announced the demise of Aggrey Okoth Ombee.
Okoth was the Chairman of the Gem Branch of the ODM Youth League.
According to the party, Okoth passed on after a short illness.
ODM described the deceased as a determined leader who played a critical role in popularizing the party in Gem.
He was also instrumental in rallying support for the Raila Odinga’s led party.
“We are saddened to learn of the death of Mr. Aggrey Okoth Ombee after a short illness. Until his death, Mr. Ombee was Chairman of the Gem Branch of the ODM Youth League @odmyouthleague1, ” ODM condolences note read in part.
“We have lost a hardworking and dedicated youth who stood for the rights of the youth.”
