A number of Kenyans received money from M-Pesa on Thursday January 11.
The money ranged from Ksh10 to Ksh 150.
Others received more money depending on the offer.
It is not clear which criteria was used to award customers.Â

The offer is touted to build brand loyalty even as Safaricom eyes a move to increase its dominance in the telecommunication sector.
The move is also expected to push the company to profitability during the 2024 financial year.
