Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu on Thursday November 24 released the Kenya Certificate for Primary Education (KCPE).
Following the release, Machogu directed candidates and guardians to send their full index number followed by initials ‘KCPE’ to 40054.
“Individual examination results can be accessed immediately after the release by sending the candidate’s Index number followed by the initials ‘KCPE’ to SMS code 40054,” KNEC stated.
Safaricom had informed it’s subscribers that they would be charged Ksh25 to receive the results.
The telecommunication company advised candidates and parents to send index number to code 40054 then a message would be sent with full KCPE results.
“KCPE results will be out shortly! Once formally announced by Ministry of Education, get candidate results by sending index number to code 40054 @Ksh 25 per SMS, ” Safaricom stated.
