Date:

Kenya Power has assured it’s customers that it was working to restore electricity supply.

In a statement dated Saturday November 11, the utility firm announced that it had deployed technicians to fix the issue that plunged parts of the nation into darkness.

“We have lost power supply to the parts of the country. Our engineers are working to restore supply to the affected areas.

Customers from Nairobi, Machakos, Kiambu and Mombasa are among those who complained of being left in darkness.

Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) was also affected to the outage. It is not clear if it hampered travels.
